How does a dealership group benchmark itself against rivals and the market?
Ask Claude or ChatGPT how your group ranks and get the answer from monthly statistics on cars that left US dealer websites, grouped by dealership group, state, city and model. A group question costs 5 call units and reads the group field, which is filled on roughly 38 percent of rows, so every group answer counts only sales with a known group.

More questions
Why do group totals not match the state total?
The dealership group field is filled on roughly 38 percent of rows, so a group ranking or filter counts only the sales the data maps to a group, and the answer carries a warning that says so. Compare groups with each other, and a group with the market model by model.
What does a call cost?
$3.00 per call unit, paid from your prepaid balance and only after a successful call; a refused or failed call costs nothing. On this page the national group ranking is 5 units ($15.00), the three-group benchmark is 5 units ($15.00), the Florida group ranking is 5 units ($15.00), the city split of the leader is 5 units ($15.00), the footprint by state is 5 units ($15.00) and the group model mix is 5 units ($15.00); every other prompt is 1 unit ($3.00), so all 11 prompts come to 35 units ($105.00).
How current is the data?
It is monthly, and each month lands one to two months after it ends, so benchmark one month against the next. The examples on this page are from Aug 2026. It covers US dealers only, back to January 2021, at most 12 months per call.
Can I read a single rooftop?
Pin its website as a named seller (the source filter, 2 call units) to read one store, or rank the selling websites inside a state (5 units) to see every rooftop against its neighbors. A group filter reads every store the data maps to that group.
Are these the prices buyers paid?
No. Every price is the advertised asking price when the car left the dealer website; the negotiated price is private and is not in the data. Group medians compare like with like because every group is measured the same way, from cars that left the market at their last asking price.
