How we describe prices

MarketCheck observes listings, not settlements. Every price in our products is a listed price: a current asking price, or the last list price of a vehicle that has left the market, which is the closest observable proxy to a transaction. We say so on every report, because a value you can defend starts with knowing what the number is.
