Sub-processors
For the MarketCheck AI Desk service.
Last updated August 21, 2026
These are the third parties that process personal data on our behalf when you use the Service. They are the sub-processors referred to in Section 6 and Annex 3 of our Data Processing Agreement. Each one is bound by written terms no less protective than that agreement.
We give at least 30 days' notice before adding or replacing a sub-processor, either by email to your account address or by updating this page.
| Sub-processor | What it does | Processes in |
|---|---|---|
| Google Cloud Platform / Firebase | Hosting, application runtime, database, and file storage for accounts, reports, and generated documents. | United States |
| Stripe, Inc. | Payment processing, credit top-ups, and invoicing. Stripe acts as an independent controller for payment data. | United States |
| Resend | Transactional and lifecycle email delivery, including report-ready notifications. | United States |
| Vercel AI Gateway | Routes model requests to the providers below. Does not retain prompt content for training. | United States |
| Anthropic, PBC | Reads a composite of the seller's listing photos to identify visible wear and damage on a comparable vehicle. | United States |
| Google LLC (Gemini API) | Locates a named finding on the individual listing photo it was reported on, so it can be shown and checked. | United States |
| OpenAI, L.L.C. | Reads the text of a dealer listing page to extract the advertised price used as a comparable. | United States |
| Bright Data Ltd. | Retrieves dealer listing pages and captures the page image kept as evidence for a comparable. | Israel, United States |
| Firecrawl | Fallback retrieval of dealer listing pages where the primary engine cannot render the page. | United States |
A note on the AI providers
The four AI rows above (the gateway, Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI) receive vehicle listing content: photographs published by the selling dealer, and the text of the listing page. They receive this to produce a specific result, and they do not use it to train their models. Where a report includes a condition assessment, we keep the findings and the photographs they were drawn from so a disputed result can be re-checked later.
These providers do not receive the consumer details you enter on a worksheet, such as a vehicle owner's name, address, or telephone number. Those stay within the Service.
