More questions
Can I cite these figures?
Yes, as dated market statistics. Every answer echoes the exact request, the filters it applied and the dataset version it came from, and every row states its month, area and priced sample. A later data refresh can revise recent months slightly, so keep each answer with its date.
Are these the prices buyers paid?
No. Every price is the advertised asking price when the car left the dealer website; the negotiated price is private and is not in the data. Present them as listing evidence: what comparable cars were advertised at when they left the market.
How current is the data?
It is monthly, and each month lands one to two months after it ends, so a date in the last month or two may not have landed yet. A window that starts more than 24 months back adds one call unit. The examples on this page are from Aug 2026. It covers US dealers only, back to January 2021, at most 12 months per call.
Does it show individual cars or VINs?
No. It returns statistics (units, median and mean asking price, odometer, days on market) grouped by model, year, trim, seller or group, never a VIN. For named comparable vehicles, pair it with the recently sold search or a Vehicle Valuation Report.
What does a call cost?
$3.00 per call unit, paid from your prepaid balance and only after a successful call; a refused or failed call costs nothing. On this page the date-of-loss band is 2 units ($6.00), the three-month band around it is 2 units ($6.00), the valuation-date band is 2 units ($6.00) and the 2022 series is 2 units ($6.00); every other prompt is 1 unit ($3.00), so all 9 prompts come to 13 units ($39.00).
