Legal and privacy

The binding documents live on the app, and these are the current versions:

This page is a plain summary of the parts people ask about. Where it differs from the documents above, those govern.

What a report run stores

A run keeps what the report needs to remain a report: the inputs you gave, the vehicle data it pulled, the comparables it selected, the figures it produced, and any evidence it cached, such as a timestamped snapshot of a dealer's listing page.

That is what makes a worksheet defensible months later, when the listing it relied on is gone. It also means a report is a stored document, not a transient answer.

Hosted reports do not expire.

Who can see a hosted report

Anyone holding the link. There is no sign-in on /r/ pages, deliberately, because a customer or an insurer has to be able to open one.

The token is long and random, so a link is not guessable, but it is not access control either. If a report contains something you would not want read by whoever the link reaches, do not share the link.

Personal data in reports

Most reports concern vehicles rather than people. Where a report is prepared for a named consumer, as appraisal and total-loss worksheets can be, the name and contact details you enter appear on the document and in the hosted page.

Enter only what the document needs, and remember that a read-only copy carries it too.

Vehicle data and its limits

The dataset is advertised prices from dealer websites, not transaction records, and not a title or ownership register. See what the numbers mean.

Nothing here is a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and it must not be used to make decisions about a person's credit, employment, insurance eligibility, or housing. It describes vehicles and markets.

AI output

Reports are assembled by software, and parts of them, including narration and figures read off a dealer's page by a model, are machine-produced. They can be wrong.

The worksheet reports exist because of exactly this: they let a preparer see every comparable, change any of them, and certify the result. Where a figure will support a settlement or a transaction, check it before you rely on it. That is what the evidence snapshots are for.
