Who runs the Acquisition Fit Report

  • Dealers working an auction run list who want to know what to bid on before the lane opens.
  • Used car managers triaging a batch of trade-ins or wholesale offers.
  • Dealer groups deciding which store a unit fits best (see the Placement Report for the inverse).

Before you run it

How does the ranking work?
MarketMatch, MarketCheck’s vehicle-to-dealer fit model, scores each candidate against your lot’s recent inventory and year-make-model affinity. Each unit gets a fit rank (1 is best), a market-position score, your affinity score and a Strong, Fair or Weak verdict. Scores are predictive fit indices on a 400 to 3000 scale, not prices and not a guarantee of sale.
Does it tell me what to pay?
Priced candidates get a dealer-economics read, front-end gross and cost to market, treating the asking price as acquisition and the MarketCheck Price as the retail exit. Set the actual max bid with a Stocking Guide or a VIN Price Check.
What do I need?
The candidate vehicles one per line (VIN, then optional price and miles), up to 100, plus your dealership domain and the ZIP of your lot. Missing prices and miles are pulled from the unit’s current listing and marked as assumed.
How is it priced?
$0.99 per vehicle ranked with a $1.99 minimum. Un-matchable VINs are not billed. A list that could cost more than the minimum is quoted first, charging nothing.
When should I use Batch Vehicle Valuation instead?
When you want a value per unit rather than a fit ranking. Batch Vehicle Valuation prices every VIN; Acquisition Fit tells you which ones belong on your lot.
