Example query

Ask Claude or ChatGPT in plain English:

Build an ACV worksheet for VIN 3GNAXYEX1KS562965, 41,500 miles, ZIP 48124. The insurer offered $16,000.

The carrier offered $21,500 on my totaled truck, VIN 3C63R5SL3TG153504, 13,214 miles, ZIP 48124. Is that fair? Prepare the worksheet.

Your assistant picks up the report, runs it against live MarketCheck data, and narrates the result back to you. Same credit balance, either assistant.

05Questions

Before you run it

How are the comparables chosen?
The worksheet pulls like-for-like active listings matched on configuration through the VIN pattern and banded to the subject odometer, each with a match percentage and an installed-options similarity percentage. It selects about three by default; you can tick, untick, hide, sort and re-pick any of them on the page and the math follows. Comparables under a 70% match are never picked automatically.
Are the comparable prices verified?
Yes. Every comparable price is read off the selling dealer’s own page with documentation and dealer fees stripped out, and a full-page snapshot of the listing is saved with the worksheet. When the carrier says the comparable is gone, it is still in your file. A comparable also needs at least four real photos to qualify.
Can I control the search radius?
Yes. Set the radius on the run form, from 25 to 500 miles, and the worksheet stays inside it and says so on the page. Leave it blank and it starts at 25 miles and widens only while the pool is thin.
Can I change the worksheet after the run without paying again?
Comparable picks, the per-mile rate, additions and deductions, price corrections and the carrier offer are free edits on the hosted page, and the Excel and PDF follow. Changing the VIN, odometer, ZIP or radius is a re-run: within 30 days of a full-price run the same worksheet costs $0.99, up to three times.
What do I hand the client or the carrier?
A branded Excel workbook with your name, licence and file number, a PDF of the page, and a locked read-only copy that shows only the comparables you kept. Prices are listed prices throughout; the worksheet says so.
