# Market Movers

> What to stock next: nameplates clearing faster than local supply.

**Price:** $4.99 per report. Runs inside Claude or ChatGPT (MCP), or as a shareable hosted web report. Pay per report, no subscription.

Ranks the top make/model nameplates in a local market by demand-to-supply: monthly off-market velocity (a sold proxy) against standing active inventory, with the off-market exit-price median per nameplate and an oversupplied avoid-list. The discovery step BEFORE a Stocking Guide: it tells the dealer WHICH nameplates to stock; the Stocking Guide then pins trims, years, and a Max Bid for one of them. Use when a dealer asks what to stock next, what is hot or moving in their market, or which models to avoid, WITHOUT naming a specific make/model, and a quick ranked list answers it. If they name one, use Stocking Guide instead. If they want the full movement briefing (what competitors are stocking or cutting, exit velocity by attribute, supply depth, or their own lot vs the market), use Full Market Capture. For a general market overview by geography use Market Quick Look.

## Inputs

### Required
- **zip** (e.g. `60601`): ZIP code of the market to rank.

### Recommended
- **radius_miles** (e.g. `50`): Market radius in miles (default 50, max 100).
- **segment** (e.g. `SUV`): Body segment filter: SUV, Sedan, Pickup, Coupe, Hatchback, Minivan, Convertible, Wagon. Narrows the ranking.

### Optional
- **car_type** (e.g. `used`): "used" or "new". Defaults to used.

## Data semantics

Every price is a **listed (asking) price**, not a transacted sale price. "Recently off-market" comps show a vehicle's last list price (a sold proxy). The ML "MarketCheck Price" predicts an optimal listing price, not a sale price.
