# Acquisition Fit Report

> Rank auction or trade-in candidates by how well they fit your lot.

**Price:** $1.99 per report. Runs inside Claude or ChatGPT (MCP), or as a shareable hosted web report. Pay per report, no subscription.

Powered by MarketMatch, MarketCheck's vehicle-dealer fit model. Give it a list of candidate VINs (an auction run list, a batch of trade-ins, or wholesale offers) and your dealership, and it ranks each vehicle by how well it fits your lot's recent inventory and year-make-model affinity. Each unit gets a fit rank (1 = best), a vehicle market-position score, your lot's affinity score, and a Strong / Fair / Weak fit verdict. Priced candidates also get a dealer-economics read: front-end gross and cost to market, treating the asking price as acquisition and the MarketCheck Price as the retail exit. The scores are predictive fit indices on a 400 to 3000 scale, not prices and not a guarantee of sale. Use them to decide what to bid on; pair with a Stocking Guide or VIN Price Check to set the actual max bid. PRICING: metered at $0.99 per vehicle ranked, with a $1.99 minimum. You pay only for vehicles actually ranked (un-matchable VINs are not billed). If the run could cost more than the $1.99 floor, it requires cost confirmation: call first WITHOUT confirm_cost_usd for an up-to quote (charges nothing), then call again with confirm_cost_usd set to the quoted cap once the user approves. Use when the user gives a LIST of candidate vehicles (multiple VINs, an auction run list, a batch of trade-ins or wholesale offers, usually with miles and price) and asks to RANK, score, prioritize, or pick which ones to buy, bid on, or that best fit their lot or store. Ranks the entire set for one dealership in a SINGLE call. Do NOT value each VIN separately with the Vehicle Valuation tool. Trigger phrases: rank these VINs, which should I buy or bid on, which of these fit my lot, auction run list, score these candidates.

## Inputs

### Required
- **vehicles** (e.g. `5FNYF8H54SB000197, 37610, 14428`): The candidate vehicles, one per line: VIN, then optional price and miles (e.g. "5FNYF8H54SB000197, 37610, 14428"). Up to 100 (a full auction lane). If you omit price/miles for a VIN, they are pulled from its current active listing and marked assumed.
- **hint_zip** (e.g. `30907`): ZIP code at the dealer's lot. Required: MarketMatch scopes the fit comparison to a tight radius around this ZIP and 400s without it.

### Recommended
- **dealer_id** (e.g. `mbofaugusta.com`): The dealer's website domain (e.g. dthondachicago.com) or mc_dealer_id. Defaults to the user's linked dealership if set.

### Optional
- **confirm_cost_usd** (e.g. `3.96`): Only when the run could cost more than the $1.99 floor. After quoting the user the up-to cap and getting approval, call again with this set to the quoted cap. Charged for vehicles actually ranked, never above the cap. Leave empty on the first (quote) call.

## Data semantics

Every price is a **listed (asking) price**, not a transacted sale price. "Recently off-market" comps show a vehicle's last list price (a sold proxy). The ML "MarketCheck Price" predicts an optimal listing price, not a sale price.

## How to run

Connect MarketCheck to Claude or ChatGPT at https://ai.marketcheck.com/install, then ask in plain English. Or open the report page and run it.
