# MarketCheck AI Reports

> On-demand vehicle pricing and market-intelligence reports, available to AI assistants over MCP and as shareable hosted HTML. Every report is built from MarketCheck's live US listings data. Connect once from Claude or ChatGPT, then ask for a report by VIN, by make/model, or by dealer.

MarketCheck AI Reports turns the MarketCheck listings dataset into finished, decision-ready reports: vehicle valuations, market snapshots, dealer pricing scans, trade-in and total-loss estimates, and more. Reports run as MCP tools inside AI assistants and also render as hosted web pages you can share.

## Data semantics (read this first)

Every price MarketCheck observes is a **listed (asking) price**, not a transacted sale price. Two consequences for every report:

- "Recently off-market" comps are de-listed vehicles shown at their **last list price** (a sold proxy, used because true negotiated sale prices are not observable).
- The ML "MarketCheck Price" predicts an **optimal listing price**, not a sale price. Fair market value (off-market-anchored) sits below the predicted ask; the gap is expected negotiation room.

Treat these as list-price intelligence (pricing power, positioning, days-to-clear), not as a record of what vehicles sold for.

Agents can buy reports on demand, with no account, paying per call. Two paths:

- **Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP):** product feed at `https://ai.marketcheck.com/api/acp/feed` (JSON; `?format=csv` for TSV). Checkout is `POST /api/acp/checkout_sessions` -> `POST /api/acp/checkout_sessions/{id}/complete` with a Stripe Shared Payment Token; the response returns the report data inline plus a hosted report link.
- **MCP, pay-per-call:** call any report tool with an `spt_token` (Stripe Shared Payment Token) to pay per call without an account; a paid call made with no token returns a `payment_required` checkout link.
- **Agent principals:** organizations can provision autonomous agents with their own `client_credentials` identity and per-agent spend caps that draw on a shared balance.
